My name is Francesca Hernandez. I received my Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Texas at El Paso. During my professional career, I have provided skilled evaluation and intervention services to individuals of all ages in a variety of settings, including skilled nursing, assisted living, inpatient and outpatient rehab, and home-health.

I founded Chihuahuan Desert Speech Therapy, PLLC to provide individualized and accessible speech therapy services as a way to give back and support the El Paso community.

I hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association as well as a Speech-Language Pathology license from the state of Texas and the state of New Mexico. I am a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) through the Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists, and a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the International Council of Certified Dementia Care Practitioners.
